MIAMI OUTERWEAR Fri., January 6, 2015 OXFORD Created by co-founders Massimiliano Squire and Miami University students Michael Markesbery and Rithvik Venna, Lukla jackets will be the first commercially available jackets created using Aerogel as an insulator. The jackets can be thinner and lighter while still keeping the wearer warm. The raw Aerogel material, pictured here, is a brittle solid material, but new technology has allowed it to be formed into the 2mm flexible sheets used in the jackets. The Enquirer/Cameron Knight
